Become empowered with the skills, knowledge, and strategies to be a powerful change-maker in your community. UNICEF offers young people the opportunity to participate in local activism through our week-long activism training programme. This is ideal for a Transition Year Work Experience Week or Volunteerism week. The course is normally held on Fridays in Dublin, from 9:30-4 pm. Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions this course is currently being delivered online over a one-week period.

At the end of the first day, you will have created your own action plan to deliver in your school or community over the following week. This course can work well for students who live outside Dublin, as most of the week is spent in your school or community.

Please note – We do not yet have dates for in-person training for 2020/2021.  The dates will be dependant on COVID-19 restrictions lifting.

Two online work experience courses are scheduled for 

• 22nd -26th March 2021 
• 26th -30th April 2021
